Loughrea is served by the M6 motorway. Leave at junction 16 (Galway Plaza) and head down the N65 towards Loughrea. At the roundabout take the 4th exit on to the R380. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit on to the R446. The Loughrea Hotel & Spa is approximately 600m on the left.
Once in Loughrea (bus stops at SuperMacs) stand with your back to SuperMacs. Turn right and head down the R446. At the traffic lights turn right (main road, not small road) and walk up the R446/Athenry Road. The journey is approximately 1.4km and will take around 17 minutes. Please note the first half (SuperMacs to the traffic lights) is downhill, and the second half (traffic lights to the hotel) is uphill.
From Galway City, Athlone or Dublin: Bus Eireann routes 20 or X20 will drop you in Loughrea town centre. From there is it a short walk up to the hotel. See “By Walking”
